Utilizing over 800 scanned documents, photographs, audio clips and video excerpts, this website narrates the breathless details of the pursuit of the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA Linus Pauling & the Race for DNA
This section is comprised of the multitude of medals, citations, diplomas and other recognitions awarded to Linus Pauling. Included are the nearly fifty honorary doctorates received by Pauling during his lifetime. Prominent items include Pauling's two Nobel medals, the Lenin Peace Prize medal, the Lomonosov medal and the National Medal of Science. Linus Pauling's Awards and Medals
The Pacific Northwest Survey Photograph Collection includes 1000+ field images taken between 1934 and 1945. These span 390 streams in the Columbia River Basin.
